Elemental sounds of US Presidential, Vice Presidential candidates
and some foreign leaders

November 7th is the first day of the winter season, and the beginning of the “Yin Wood Pig” month. Of all the animals, the pig is the most optimistic. She (because the pig is yin energy) usually looks on the bright side and thinks things will work out for the best even though reality may be pointing in the opposite direction. We can only hope this will be the case with all of the current US election turmoil. Pigs are known as the “great transformers.” They are able to digest anything! This capacity will be sorely needed at this point in time.

Since everyone is so focused on the elections, I decided to present an ancient Chinese astrology system based on one’s “elemental sound,” the sound of the year of your birth. I thought it would be interesting to look at the elemental sound of the 2024 US presidential and vice presidential candidates and some world leaders (since no one else is!) They are presented as short cryptic layered comments by different masters through the years and there seems to be some wisdom in each one.

For the Democrats, both of the candidates, Kamela Harris and Tim Walz, and Kamala’s husband have the same sound as they were all born in 1964. This is very unusual! All three were born in the year of the Great Wood Dragon and the 2024 election is being held in the 60th year return of the Great Wood Dragon. In Chinese belief, when you turn sixty, you have completed a full cycle of life, and 61 is regarded as the beginning of a new life cycle. Chinese astrology repeats itself every 60 years. The 60 year cycle is created by 12 animals x 5 elements.

The elemental sound for these people is yin fire – candlelight. They give guidance and make good teachers. They are fragile and have to be careful because their fire can easily be snuffed out. They can be personally vulnerable, but will help when most needed. This dragon is called the “Dragon in the Whirlpool.”

Donald Trump – Fire Dog
His sound is symbolized by wooden rooftops slates. He is good for protection, but sometimes the slates fall off and break. He is best in small groups – businesses – but wants to protect everyone – wants to help everyone, but can’t always deliver. Slates are good on houses, but not on tall buildings, Can be scared of too much wind. This dog is called “the Sleeping Dog.”

J.D. Vance – Yang Wood Rat
His sound is of metal deep in the sea. Gold from the sea which is difficult to get – possible shipwrecked spoils – could be valuable or useless. It is metal that can’t cut wood, but is easily melted. A quiet deep person – not easy to get to know. Sometimes indicates people who obtain money from inheritance – or pirate treasure. This rat is called the “Rat on the Roof.”

Jill Stein – Yang Metal Tiger
Her sound is of wood – cedar and pine – both symbols of longevity. She is the valuable evergreen tree – straight and thin. Very reliable and can be a good leader – a CEO. Can be stubborn – lighting can frighten her. This tiger is called ”The Tiger who Leaves the Mountain.”

Butch Ware – Yang Wood Tiger
His sound is that of a quick rushing stream. Always fresh water – always busy – good salesman and communicator – adventurous – driven person – always on the move. This tiger is called “Tiger Standing firm.”

Vladimir Putin – Yang Water Dragon
His sound is long flowing water – very good for anything having to do with travel – sailors, pirates, airlines. Very adventurous. Needs to feel freedom – steadfast and good for long relationships. His dragon is the “Rain Dragon.”

Xi Jinping – Yin Water Snake
His elemental sound is the same as Putins! The only difference is that he is a “Snake in the Grass.”

Zelensky – Fire Snake
His elemental sound is earth mixed with sand and stone – mixed qi –
not stable – too weak. With guidance can have good future – only interested in something for a short time – doesn’t always finish projects. Short attention span. Better to work with someone else and not run his own business. His Snake is called “Snake in the Pool.”

Netanyahu – Earth Ox
His elemental sound is the fire of lightning. Can be a quiet person with a lot of knowledge which suddenly explodes. Can get very angry and explode. Never under estimate these people. Lightening can destroy wood even a whole forest – but can’t melt metal. Bad temper – can easily lose control. His animal is the “Ox in the cowshed.”
