auspicious days january 2020

Ding Chou, the month of the Yin Fire Ox, begins January 6th, 2019 and lasts until February 4th, 2020. The image of the elemental combination (yin fire over yin earth) brings to mind the subtle lights of the aurora borealis flickering over the frozen earth as it begins to melt and flow again.

The Yin Fire Ox rules until the first day of Spring, when the tiger arrives. The Ox is the perfect animal to end the year as it brings strength, perseverance, thoughtfulness and the urge to take control and correct all that is in disarray. These qualities will especially help us through the once in a life time Pluto/Saturn planetary conjunction occurring in Capricorn (the Ox in the Chinese zodiac) on January 12th. This energetic combination will require extra effort to stay steady and grounded and will be the perfect time to think with the heart and feel with the mind!

My colleague, Phillip Lindsey (whose site is Esoteric Astrology) has a great description of this planetary alignment which is occuring in the sign of Capricorn. “This Saturn-Pluto conjunction has not occurred in this sign for 500 years, since the religious Reformation in Europe, 1517. It is also the first conjunction with Saturn in Capricorn that has occurred since Pluto was “discovered” in 1930. Hence this conjunction indicates a massive reformation that will take place in the ensuing years; it is the pivotal point of this Pisces- Aquarius cusp and represents the power structure of the status quo that have reached their ultimate point of crystallization – and hence an inevitable shattering.

The exact Saturn-Pluto conjunction occurs around the Capricorn full moon solar festival – along with the Sun and Mercury upon their annual circuit, considerably amplifying the power of the conjunction. (Including Jupiter, there are five placements in Capricorn at the full moon.) No one knows what is going to unfold in the next several years, it is all determined by human free will. Life is becoming tougher, and yet the tension must be held during future periods of pain that inevitably accompany great changes.

Therefore, 2020 may be a year of greater pain and transformation for Humanity. Yet, following the shattering of these old forms, radical changes are on the horizon, symbolized by Saturn and Jupiter entering Aquarius together in Christmas 2020. Aquarius, the sign of reform and revolution and the greater cycle toward which the world is heading.

Jan. 15, 17, 18, 22 and Feb. 3 2020

At the Beginning of the Chinese Solar New Year, February 4th, 2020, I am going to be turning my website into a very inexpensive monthly membership site containing the Auspicious dates, killing dates, monthly feng shui directions etc. I plan on doing three half hour live videos a month; one on Feng Shui, one on Dowsing/Radisethesia and a third one on Eclectica!! The umbrella of it all will be Invisible Architecture.

I will be sending a newsletter on the energies of the “White Metal Rat”, which begins on January 25th, 2020 and it will have the membership info. Now is also the perfect time to schedule your annual Feng Shui update. We are in a truly transitional period of dark to light, but also the beginning of many new cycles.

It is time to wave the “Muddy Pig” year goodbye and get ready for the “White
Metal Rat!!”

Love and Light, Carol
