The Month of the Brown Earth Snake arrives on Sunday, May 5th. The yin earth (soil) snake is the most conservative of all the five types of snakes and tends to be confident, focused, unhurried and collected. All snake cycles (yearly, monthly and daily) are known for reveling in behind-the-scenes talks, secret negotiations, clandestine activities, and a powerful desire to make things happen. They seem to possess certain qualities that dispose people surrounding them to reveal their secrets. Luckily. the earth snake possesses the slowest, cautious, practical and deliberate qi of all the other snakes (fire, water, metal wood) because it doesn’t want to make mistakes.

These energies will be important this month as new revelations about the wars, immigrations, and elections bring more confusion and uncertainty into our lives. This year, 40% of the world’s population is holding national elections. The outcomes of these elections and the wars, taken separately and together, will help determine who controls and directs the 21st-century world. Globally, we really need the qualities of this month’s Earth Snake in this yang Wood Dragon year to slow down and reflect on what is happening.

While reflecting on the current condition of the world with the constant wars. terror attacks. and the resultant refugees, I remembered the mind boggling research done by the renown ornithologist and entomologist, Phillip Callahan. He discovered that there was an irrefutable relationship between the paramagnetic quality of the soil (the light it gives off) and cultural conflicts that resulted in violence.

During World War 2, while stationed in Ireland as a radio engineer, he became intrigued with the 13 round towers he found in the countryside. He noticed that around the towers, the plants, grass and trees were extremely healthy and that the farmers even brought their sheep to graze there Through experimentation, he discovered the towers were paramagnetic antennaes placed in diamagnetic (nonmagnetic areas) to increase the fertility of the land and to bring the magnetic field lines of the earth back into alignment.

Paramagnetism is a force that moves toward a magnet (yang) and diamagnetism is a force that move away from a magnet (yin,) The atmosphere, rocks, stone, and soil (inorganic) tend to be paramagnetic, while plants, water and most organic forms including humans tend to be diamagnetic. The two forces work hand in hand.

Callahan found that the ancients built their round towers, pyramids, stupas, cathedrals etc. with highly paramagnetic stones like granite. He discovered that both the shape of the structure and the paramagnetic qualities of the stone worked together to imbue plants, animals and humans, the entire environment with health and well being. He postulated that paramagnetic soils facilitated the flow of electromagnetic forces from the atmosphere to plants. However, where there was low paramagnetism in the the soil, agriculture was more difficult, and there was more political strife and warfare in the region.

He became fascinated by this phenomena and decided to fly to many global areas of strife (war zones like Yugoslavia) to measure the paramagnetic quality of the soil. Every “hot spot” he tested had low paramagnetic qualities as well as low readings of the Schumann magnetic resonant waves (the heartbeat of the Earth that resonates with our brain waves.) The paramagnetism of a place and it Shuman frequency go hand in hand. To test that his hypothesis was correct and it wasn’t just the mismanagement of the land or the mindless placement of human structures causing the effect, he decided to visit some headhunter tribes in the Amazon!!

In the river delta, where the soil was deep and extremely paramagnetic, he found gentle, friendly natives living, but when he traveled upstream to where there was almost no soil, just thin dirt over networks of roots, he measured very low paramagnetic energies. The natives here very dangerous and extremely hostile headhunters!

Through his worldwide travels, he confirmed that the Mayan, Chinese, Babylonians, Egyptians and other cultures were well aware of the subtle light force emitted by paramagnetic materials – they don’t glow in the dark in any way that the eyes can see, but the light emission can be measured by sensitive photon-emission instruments. The ancients discovered they could amplify this force (have it extend for miles around a site to enhance the fertility and vitality of all lifeforms in the region) by consciously combining the right stone, location, shape, dimension and facing direction of their sacred buildings, standing stones, stupas and obelisks. The structures acted like antennas to attract both cosmic radiations and those from within the earth’s atmosphere. Granite and basalt were found to emit the highest paramagnetic energy and  were the most commonly used stones. Interestingly, the stone used to build Stonehedge was a combination of both basalt and granite.

Having verified all of this ancient knowledge for himself, he knew he had to scientifically verify his research for academia. So, he decided to visit the lab of the renowned German researcher of light, Dr Popp. Dr. Popp, who discovered the bio-photons in our DNA, had highly sensitive equipment that was able to accurately measure photon emissions from matter (a photon is a measure of light.) Dr Popp, who had not thought to measure the photons emitted by stone before, was amazed to find that highly paramagnetic basalt not only emitted 2,000 to 4,000 photons, but that the light was coherent and had memory as well. However, he was speechless when Professor Callahan added compost to he rock dust and the photon emission lept up to 40,000 photons!

Good paramagnetic soil (most of which is volcanic in origin) acts like an antennae to receive and store extremely low electro-magnetic energy created by lightning – we have between 4,000-6,000 lightning strikes a minute around the world! These energy waves penetrate the soil, and bring light to enhance root growth and the immune system of rocks and plants. Beekeepers too have now become aware of the wonders of paramagnetism. Bees hives and wax are paramagnetic while bees and honey are diamagnetic The two forces are like yin and yang with each depending on the other to bring balance and harmony.

These findings show how important good, healthy soil is to our well-being. Both of the two current wars – Israel and Ukraine are in vital locations on the Earth. Israel/Palestine are located on a sacred energy spot and Ukraine is known as the “Bread Basket of the world” with its rich fertile soil. The current use of tons of pesticides, insecticides, weed killers, and endless warfare are resulting in their and our destruction. Without strong paramagnetic minerals in our soil, we become ungrounded and our cultures tend to fall apart. Since Feng Shui is an ancient natural earth science which reveals how people and animals are affected by their environment, it is important to consider the ground beneath you, your home, and your business. Are you standing in light?

Below are some suggestions to improve the quality of your soil.

1.   Add volcanic rock dust to the soil. There are many sites on the internet here you can buy good volcanic rock dust. Professor Callahan said that volcanic ash and rock are the guts of good soil.

2.  Break up red clay pots and put the fragments in your garden. Red clay pots are very paramagnetic and great to grow plants in.

3.  Increase the fiber in the soil, so that the paramagnetic oxygen reaches the roots. This can be achieved through adding compost. Professor Callahan said to add weeds to your compost. He saw them as green containers of  aramagnetic minerals.

4.  Place igneous rocks like basalt and or granite around your trees and in your garden.

5. Watch my YouTube interviewer with Matt Roeske on related topics of Electroculture.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihhybZCbn90

Now paramagnetic rocks (and their powders) don’t glow in the dark in any way that the eyes can see, but the light emission can be measured by sensitive photon-emission instruments.

The German biophysicist Fritz-Albert Popp measured photon emissions from paramagnetic rock, and discovered something profound. When mixed with compost that was rich in microbes, the photon emission was amplified a hundredfold!

The magnetic energy from the earth flows through the paramagnetic soil into the diamagnetic structure of the plants, vastly improving their growth. This energy also improves microbial growth.
